▷ A Very Punkstuck Halloween

Dear bands,

Starting tomorrow is Punkstuck’s official Halloween Event. This year we are celebrating the season with an old-fashioned murder mystery. That’s right, starting Friday the 5th, we will be kicking off the shindig. Here is how it will work.

The Murderer has already been chosen by putting all of our members name’s into a randomizer, this means it was COMPLETELY and TOTALLY RANDOM. That means the murderer could be literally anyone. I have already contacted this person, and they have discreetly responded: this means that if you have not received this message, you are an innocent civilian. For now, at least.

The Murderer:

+ Will kill every other day according to this schedule.

+ Will decide how, and who they wish to kill.

+ Will leave messages and taunts for the civilians by sending mass text messages through a cell phone stolen from their first victim. These texts will be posts on John’s account that will be tagged #punkstuck texts, and can be viewed and replied to by all members. (We are just assuming John was popular and got all of the digits. All of them.) All of the murder announcements and details will also be posted from John’s account and tagged with #punkstuck halloween this is just so the main page does not get cluttered!

When a character is murdered, their mun will be notified by a mod beforehand. They will be then informed about the nature of their death, and may request a change if they feel the death is unsuited to their character or too graphic. They may also put up an optional post detailing their characters final moments. (Though they will not be informed who the killer is.) After this a post will be placed on John’s account detailing WHO WAS MURDERED, and HOW THEIR BODY WAS DISCOVERED. There will also be TWO HINTS given at every murder. One of these hints is a treat from your Halloween mod, given to help all of you figure out the perpetrator. The other one is a trick from The Murderer, meant to throw you off track. It will not be marked which one is which. Always stay suspicious.

Every living band member will hold a council every four days, deciding as a group whom they think is The Murderer. These discussions will be held at approximately 8pm-12am CST (GMT - 5) in a skype room to make it easier for people who can’t handle MSPARP. They are not mandatory! But be aware that those who do not attend will not be able to defend themselves. After the meeting, a log of the events will be posted. Every character gets a vote. So if one of your characters thinks it is A, and the other thinks it is B, they may both vote for their choice. However, if two of your characters vote for the same person, it will only be counted as one vote. (Also remember that, just because murders continue after someone is convicted does not necessarily mean the person was totally innocent. The Murderer may very well have recruited accomplices.)

The game will end when The Murderer and all accomplices are dead. If this objective is not fulfilled by the punkstuck ALL HALLOWS’ EVE DANCE, held on the 31st of October, all remaining band members will meet their early demise. Regardless of win or lose everyone will be resurrected on the 1st of November with no direct recollection of the event; it is up to the player to decide if their character thinks it was a dream, a horrible thought, or does not remember it at all.

Dear participating bands of the Fruity Rumpus Asshole Tour,

Due to unforeseen budget shortages we regret to inform you that bands will not be receiving individual accommodations. In order to economically divide resources, bands will be paired into groups of two to a single tour bus. Each band will be guaranteed a bed and storage space for every member, but will share all other provided bus resources. We are sorry for any inconveniences this has caused and assure you there will be no more budget surprises for the further duration of the tour.
